About Us

At 14, I was diagnosed with atrial septal defect (ASD)—a condition I had unknowingly lived with since birth. The news was overwhelming, but thanks to the incredible care and expertise of the hospital that treated me, I underwent life-changing surgery that gave me a second chance. That experience shaped my passion for advocacy, leading me to create TrueHeart Initiative to raise awareness, support those facing similar diagnoses, and fund groundbreaking heart research.
