About Us

At 14, I was diagnosed with atrial septal defect (ASD)—a condition I had unknowingly lived with since birth. The news was overwhelming, but thanks to the incredible care and expertise of the hospital that treated me, I underwent life-changing surgery that gave me a second chance. That experience shaped my passion for advocacy, leading me to create TrueHeart Initiative to raise awareness, support those facing similar diagnoses, and fund groundbreaking heart research. My goal is to give back to the hospital that saved me and contribute to advancements that will help future patients receive the same life-saving care. Through education, community, and fundraising, I hope to ensure that no one feels alone in their heart health journey.
